JOB DESCRIPTION

Proud Recruiters is thrilled to partner with a leading provider of high-quality windows and doors, in their search for a Sales Representative to join their dynamic team. As a Sales Representative you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, fostering client relationships, and representing the company's brand with integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and identify potential customers in the designated sales territory through various channels including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and strategic partnerships

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and consultations with prospective clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints

  • Educate customers about the features, benefits, and options available for the company's windows and doors, and provide personalized recommendations based on their needs

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the company's offerings and differentiate them from competitors

  • Prepare accurate and detailed quotations, proposals, and contracts for customers, ensuring alignment with company pricing policies and profitability targets

  • Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements, addressing any objections or concerns raised by customers, and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets

  • Coordinate with internal teams including sales support, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless order fulfillment and delivery of products to customers

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape, and share insights and feedback with the sales and marketing teams

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers, providing ongoing support, assistance, and follow-up to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business

  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and community gatherings to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

 

Requirements:

​

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the construction, building materials, or home improvement industry.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and effectively articulate product features and benefits.

  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets and quotas.

  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to overcome objections and close sales.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within the designated sales territory.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

​

  • Previous experience selling windows, doors, or related building products is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of residential construction practices, building codes, and architectural drawings.

 

Please note that this is a Commission Position at the Compensation attached to this posting is based off of average First Year Commissions for New Sales Representatives.
