Litigation Lawyer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Lawyer to join our law firm in Calgary. The ideal candidate will handle a diverse range of litigation matters, representing clients in both civil and commercial disputes. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent advocacy abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

• Conduct research and analysis on legal issues and case precedents.

• Develop litigation strategies and advise clients on legal rights and options.

• Negotiate settlements and engage in dispute resolution.

• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Collaborate with legal team members to ensure comprehensive client representation.

• Stay current on changes in laws and regulations affecting litigation practice.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice law in Alberta.

• 5+ years of experience in litigation, with a proven track record of successful case handling.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and courtroom skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
