We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to lead our sales team in Ottawa. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
Lead and mentor the sales team, setting performance goals and monitoring progress.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners.
Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.
Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends to senior management.
Participate in networking events and industry conferences.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 6+ years experience in sales leadership.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance metrics.
Willingness to travel as required.
