REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATE

Are you a Real Estate Lawyer with 2+ years of experience in residential real estate and financing transactions? A growing Markham-based law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented real estate practitioner to manage residential purchase, sale, refinance, and title matters. 🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage residential real estate transactions from intake to closing, including purchase, sale, refinance, and title transfer

• Draft and review agreements of purchase and sale, lender instructions, mortgage documents, and closing packages

• Conduct title searches, review title insurance policies, and resolve title issues

• Communicate with clients, realtors, lenders, and title insurers

• Ensure all compliance and Law Society of Ontario requirements are met

• Attend to client signings and oversee trust account reconciliation related to closings

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date file documentation and deadline tracking

✅ Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Ontario residential real estate law

• Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario

• Proficient in Teraview, Unity, Conveyancer, and title insurance platforms (FCT, Stewart, First Canadian Title)

• Strong understanding of mortgage financing and lender protocols

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage files independently in a busy real estate practice
