DUTIES

Prospective Litigation Lawyers should be experienced with the following duties to ensure their success in this position:

  • Manage a caseload focused on civil litigation, probate, and estate litigation matters.

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence for court proceedings.

  • Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court appearances.

  • Conduct legal research to develop case strategies and provide sound advice.

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver tailored legal solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

​Prospective Litigation Lawyers will be required to have the following skills to ensure their success in this position:

​

  • 2+ years of experience as a Litigation Lawyer, with exposure to civil litigation and estate matters.

  • Strong understanding of Ontario litigation and probate procedures.

  • Exceptional legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client interaction and collaboration.
