We are immediately seeking an experienced Litigation Law Clerk for a unique and exciting opportunity in the heart of Downtown Toronto with a Law Firm located in the Bay and Bloor Area.
Prospective Litigation Law Clerks will be joining an established and flourishing Litigation Team. The Firm provides a familial, supportive and collaborative working environment.
Daily Duties:

Drafting of Agreements and Statements of Claim
-
Drafting and assembling Motion Records, Affidavit of Documents and necessary motion materials.

Manage the Document Production process for Trial.
-
Scheduling Examinations, Arbitrations and Hearings.
-
Trial Preparation.
-
Assisting with client interviews.
-
Conducting Case Law research.
-
Drafting correspondence, accounts, pleadings, briefs
-
Arranging for service
-
Managing files and records
-
Preparing and updating forms
Requirements:
-
5+ years of proficient experience as a Litigation Law Clerk
-
Strong proficiency with PCLaw, Summation and the entire Microsoft Office Suite
-
Strong time management and organization characteristics
-
Ability to meet deadlines and detail oriented
-
Experience handling matters in Civil Litigation, Family and Human Rights is considered an asset
