The Proud is working with a well-established law firm in Markham seeking an experienced Litigation Law Clerk to join their dynamic team. This role involves managing complex civil litigation files and supporting lawyers at every stage of the process.
What We’re Looking For​
We’re looking for a strong communicator and multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment. You should bring experience drafting legal documents, coordinating discoveries, and supporting trial preparation.
Responsibilities​

Manage files from opening to post-trial.

Draft pleadings, affidavits, and motion records.

Prepare and organize document briefs and productions.

Liaise with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.

Track deadlines and court schedules.

Prepare discovery summaries and mediation briefs.

Support lawyers with trial preparation and exhibits.
Requirements​
-
6+ years of experience as a Litigation Law Clerk.

Strong knowledge of Ontario civil procedure.

Excellent drafting and organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Office, Caselines, and PCLaw.

Law Clerk diploma or equivalent education.
