What Your Day Will Look Like

You’ll manage a mix of corporate commercial matters ranging from share/asset deals to reorganizations.
Your day will include drafting, reviewing, advising, and supporting a variety of corporate clients across multiple industries.

The Type of Work You’ll Handle

• M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations, and commercial agreements
• Reviewing shareholder agreements, purchase agreements, resolutions
• High-level advisory work for business owners and executives
• Due diligence preparation and oversight
• Guiding junior lawyers and clerks on transactional steps
• Building and maintaining client relationships

What You Bring

• 8+ years of corporate commercial experience
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and transactional skills
• Solid understanding of corporate governance and deal structures
• Ability to run files independently
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
