JOB OVERVIEW
An esteemed legal firm in Burlington is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Law Clerk to support our team of attorneys specializing in estate planning and administration. This position is ideal for someone who has a deep understanding of estate law and is adept at managing complex estate files and client relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist attorneys in the drafting and preparation of wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.

Manage and administer estates, including probate and non-probate matters.

Prepare estate accounts, tax returns, and other legal documents related to estate administration.

Communicate effectively with clients, beneficiaries, and other professionals to gather and convey information.

Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all relevant documents are up to date and easily accessible.

Support the legal team in estate litigation matters as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience as an Estate Planning Law Clerk, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of estate planning and administration processes.

Strong understanding of the legal and tax implications associated with estate planning.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Law Clerk certification or equivalent education in a related field is preferred.
