We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Lending Lawyer to join our dynamic team in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and services regarding real estate lending and financing transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate loan documents, including mortgage agreements, loan agreements, and other related legal documents.

• Conduct due diligence on real estate properties and related transactions.

• Advise clients on the legal aspects of real estate financing, including regulatory compliance, risk management, and best practices.

• Represent lenders or borrowers in real estate financing transactions.

• Coordinate with other legal team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.

• Stay updated on changes in real estate and lending laws and regulations.

• Provide legal support in the resolution of disputes related to real estate lending.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice law in Ontario.

• Minimum of 8 experience in real estate law, specifically in lending and financing.

• Strong understanding of the legal framework governing real estate transactions in Canada.

• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
