We are currently seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to joing their team in Atlanta. The Cybersecurity Analyst will play a crucial role in our cybersecurity team. You will be responsible for analyzing and implementing security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data. The ideal candidate is expected to stay up-to-date with the latest intelligence, including hackers' methodologies, in order to anticipate security breaches.
Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and upgrade security measures and controls.
Protect digital files and information systems against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
Monitor network traffic for unusual activity.
Configure and support security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus software, patch management systems, etc.
Analyze and establish security requirements for your systems/networks.
Train staff on network and information security procedures.
Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
Conduct internal and external security audits.
Manage network, intrusion detection, and prevention systems.
Analyze security breaches to identify the root cause.
Continuously update the company’s incident response and disaster recovery plans.
Verify the security of third-party vendors and collaborate with them to meet security requirements.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a system security analyst or information security analyst.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools.
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
Familiarity with web-related technologies (web applications, web services, service-oriented architectures) and network/web related protocols.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related qualification.
