Commercial Litigation Lawyer

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join our law firm in Vancouver. The successful candidate will handle a wide range of commercial litigation matters, representing clients in disputes involving contracts, business torts, partnership disputes, and other complex commercial issues. This role requires a lawyer with a strong track record in litigation, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in all phases of commercial litigation, from case inception through trial, settlement, or appeal.
Draft and argue motions, manage discovery processes, and prepare for and participate in trials and arbitrations.
Provide strategic legal advice and risk assessment on various commercial disputes.
Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution methods when appropriate.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and legal challenges.
Work collaboratively with other members of the legal team and contribute to the development of the firm’s litigation practice.
Stay current with developments in commercial law and litigation practices.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in British Columbia.
7+ years of experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of success.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to handle complex legal issues and multi-task on various projects.
Strong commitment to client service and ethical conduct.
